House of Vans in association with Dice Magazine and The Great Frog are bringing Europe’s first free, custom motorcycle show to central London: The Assembly Chopper Show on 22 and 23 July.
The countdown to the Assembly Chopper show kicks off on Friday 7 July with an opening party and gallery exhibition. Motorcycle fans will be able to get a taste of what’s in store with the exhibit containing images of the bikes featured in the upcoming show, there will also be a beautifully built Triumph T100R Daytona Bobber on display. In celebration of the 74th issue of motorcycle magazine Dice being released, the last 73 historic covers will be exhibited, along with a special issue 74 dedication.
The main event on the weekend of 21 – 23 July will see 50 of the best vintage choppers from around the globe being showcased for one weekend only at House of Vans London. A host of legendary Chopper builders are also set to descend on the venue to celebrate the art of chopper, including long term Vans veteran Max Schaaf, as well as Jeremiah Armenta of Love Cycles and Go Takamine of Brat Style to name a few. Friday 21 July is a VIP invite only night, while the rest of the weekend is open to the public.
In addition to the impressive selection of choppers and builders down at House of Vans over the weekend, a few specially selected retailers will also set up shop under the arches, such as The Great Frog, Bonzorro vintage goods, Burns women’s denim apparel, LeBeef Kustom Metal Works and Joe King helmets, with a number of retailers to still be announced. Attendees can also expect prize giveaways, live music, and free drinks courtesy of Pabst Blue Ribbon.
Keeping in line with the show, the House of Vans 100 seat cinema will be screening an assortment of motorbike related films over the period for your viewing pleasure including Easy Rider, The Wild One and Chopper Town, a full film list can be found here.
